We’ve got a few races this week to report on, primarily the USAC Amateur Road national Championships. However there was also IM Ohio and the Pony Pasture 5k. As always, congrats to all our athletes who raced. Let’s get started!
Presley Evans and Roman Steis raced the USA Cycling Amateur Road National Champs in the 11-12 division. In the TT, Presley took 11th and Roman 13th. In the Road Race, Presley took 9th and Roman 15th. In the Crit, Roman took 12th and Presley 14th.
At Ironman 70.3 Ohio, Tim Brown won his age group, qualifying for the 2019 Ironman 70.3 World Championships!Sarah Patthoff set a new PR (taking off almost 40 minutes!!!) in an amazing comeback from knee surgery this past winter. David Fouse also had a strong race.
At the Pony Pasture 5k, Susan Alexander ran very well and finished 3rd in her AG! Way to go Susan! Asa Mazow had a solid result as well.
