At the third and final race of the RVA Splash & Dash series at Hallsley, Endorphin Fitness athletes continued their success. In the girl’s 7-8 race, Ellie Harlow won and Hazel Gillespie took 5th. In girl’s 9-10, Campbell Rowe took 1st, Hadley Harlow 3rd, and Austin Harlow 6th. In boy’s 7-8, Zack Fisher took 1st and Brown Ukrop 2nd. In Boy’s 9-10, Jude Gillespie took 1st, Heinrich Conradie 2nd, Riggs Ukrop 3rd, and Cannen Harlow 5th. In Boy’s 11-12, Joshua Gray took 1st, Luke Craven 2nd, Patrick Harlow 3rd, and Caleb Harlow 4th.
Based on their performances across the entire series, several EF athletes took home trophies for a top 3 placement in the series. Ellie Harlow, Hadley Harlow, Brown Ukrop, Jude Gillespie, and Luke Craven all took 1st in the series; Hazel Gillespie, Austin Harlow, Zack Fisher, Heinrich Conradie, and Patrick Harlow took 2nd; and Campbell Rowe, Cannen Harlow, and Joshua Gray took 3rd place.
To spice things up a little, we also an adult-child relay at the Hallsley race with EF teams taking 1st (team Joshua Gray), 2nd (team Luke Craven), 3rd (team Caleb Harlow), 4th (team Ellie Harlow), 5th (team Patrick Harlow), 6th (team Austin Harlow), 7th (team Zack Fisher), 9th (team Cannen Harlow), 10th (team Heinrich Conradie), 11th (team Hadley Harlow), 13th (team Campbell Rowe), and 15th (team Hazel Gillespie).
Carson Everman raced the Music City Triathlon, which is the Tennessee State Chamionships, and took 1st in her age group claiming the state championships.
Presley Evans and Coleson Lindsey raced the Mountain Bike National Championships and both had stellar races against the strongest field in the nation.
At Ironman Lake Placid, David Fouse had a strong race, finishing in 12:58
Kathy Scourby placed second in her age group, shaving 7 minutes off of last years time in the VA Duathlon.
Matt Winheim, Myles Baker, and Melanie Frank all had great showings at the Cul de Sac 5k.
Samantha Kayne won Tour de Tysons road race for 11-12 Girls and placed second overall. The next day she raced Columbia Tri and came 1st in 11-12 Girls and also beat the winner of the boys race by 1 second.
Also, Kai Dove came 2nd at Tour de Tysons in 13-14 Boys category.
