Great results from a variety of races this weekend from the RVA Splash & Dash, Hampton Roads Splash & Dash, Robious Landing Triathlon, and the Monroe Junior Elite Cup.
At the Hampton Roads Splash & Dash final race, Gabe Nunziata took the overall win and Kory Johnston and Josie Nunziata went 1-2 in the overall on the girls side. Avery Diette and Kory Johnston won their age groups and Casey Hough took 2nd in his. In the final series rankings, Mia Stimson, Avery Diette, Lily Stimson, and Kory Johnston won their age groups while Casey Hough and Jaxon Johnson took 2nd and James Beard 3rd.
At Robious Landing Triathlon, Erin Horil took 1st overall and Aimee West 2nd overall. Coach Michael was 4th overall and won his age group. Also winning their age group was Caroline Osenga, Coach Michael, Alex Tan, Cort Kirkley. Daniel Brishke, Whitney Mylum, and Meredith Newcomb took 2nd in theirs. Marisa Ruotolo, Greg Flynn, Emily Kontos, Diane Johnson, Mike McGee, and Coach Andrew Callihan took 3rd. Also, strong races from Brian Keiper (first triathlon!!), Emily Sherald, Charlotte McDannald, Clay Westbay, Ben Shaw, Jack Martin, Rachel Wood, Kenny Steingold, and Lee White.
At the Monroe Junior Elite Cup, Lucy Nunziata took 28th and Annalise Williams 29th in the Youth Elite Female race. In the Youth Elite Male race, Tate Frost and Josh Gray went 17th and 18th respectively. In the Junior Elite Female race, Hope Frost took 5th, Zoe Van Winckel 6th, Abby Church 15th, Hannah Ye 16th, Alexandra Poole 18th, Chloe Ramirez 27th, Jennifer Zheng 30th , and Emme Cate Heilbrun 33rd. In the Junior Elite Male race, Nick Pilgrim took 24th.
Lastly, strong results once again from Jake Dysart and Alex Tan at the Bryan Park Crit.
