Endorphin Fitness athletes had a strong weekend of racing! Races included many high school cross country championships, the NYC Marathon, the Tour de Fall Line Mountain Bike ride, and many other races. Let’s get started.
Carson Everman (pictured above) had a strong race at the NCAA Women’s Triathlon National Champs in Tempe, AZ.
Strong championship XC Races for many EF athletes this week. Hope Frost took the win with a big PR at her metro varsity championship. Cooper Albright had a breakthrough race taking 3rd at his varsity regional championship. Josh Gray and Caroline Osenga both had good races at the 3D regional championship JV meet taking 19th and 36th respectively. Kieran Haug raced the CT championship race strong to finish 11th.
At the Region 3D XC Championships, Colby Burcham took the overall win, with Jake Schindel finishing 7th overall to claim all region honors and lead the team to the overall win as well. Eloise Campbell notched a season best in the race.
In the JV race, both Chase Brooksbank and Connor Zebrowski had strong races leading the team to the overall win.
At LIS XC championship, Emily Merchant had a solid result.
Jay Beckstoffer had a great performance at the New York City Marathon, finishing in a time of 4:17:36.
Rylan Pearsall ran a PR at her last meet of the season with a time of 20:59!
Megan Buchanan swam the 500 freestyle in her Regional High School Championships and placed 9th, with a time of 5:12:51, an 8 second PR
Susan Alexander ran extremely well in the Across the Bay 10K, taking over a minute off of her time from last year!
Logan White helped lead her team to a top 3 region finish in their xc championships, landing a place in the 3A state meet.
Jake Dysart and Caleb McCaskill crossed the pseudo finish line 1st and 2nd respectively in the Fall de Line mountain bike ride.
Alex Tan had a good race at the VCU 5k as part of family weekend.
