Great weekend of racing for EF athletes! We have several races to report on, including Ironman Chattanooga, Xterra Alabama, and more! Let’s get started.
Christian Locke won his age group in the St. Mary’s Olympic this weekend. Cort Kirkley got 3rd in his Age Group even after flatting on the bike course!
Hughes Melton completed his first 70.3 distance at Ironman 70.3 Chattanooga this weekend with a fantastic bike split! Mickie Fleming also competed in this race, taking about 45 minutes off of his time from VA 70.3 (mainly due to a STRONG mindset going into the swim!).
Hope Frost had a big weekend once again doubling in both the 1600 and 3200 as state champion with significant margin.
Whitney Mylum finished strong at the River Rock 10k Scramble in a time of 1:00:16.
Jake Dysart took first in the opening race of the Bryan Park Training Series.
12-year old Maddie Fisher raced the Xtier race at XTERRA Alabama and took the overall win for male and female all ages.
Jude Gillespie and Jake Dysart had strong races at the Urban Assault Mountain Bike Race. Jake finished 8th overall in the expert category and Jude finished 4th in the junior category.
