We have an awesome weekend of races to report on! Main races include the final Splash and Dash race at Hallsley, the Tidewater Sprint Triathlon, Ironman Lake Placid, USAC Mountain Bike Nationals, and several other races. Congrats to all our athletes who raced! Let’s get started.

This weekend was the final race of the RVA Splash & Dash Series with strong races from EF youth.  Weston White, Ellie Harlow, Maddie Fisher, Zach Fisher, Andrea Rogerson, Maddie Fisher, Zach Fisher, Weston White and Patrick Harlow all won their age groups; Caleb Harlow took 2nd; Hadley Harlow, Anneliese Rogerson, Theo Conradie, and Emory Allen took 3rd;  Austin Harlow, Tommy White, Annika Rogerson, and Izzy List took 4th:  Megan Lamberson and Cannen Harlow took 6th: and Ariana Hotchfeld took 12th.  All had great races.  Congrats to the many above who also took series podiums and the EF parents who raced the parent-child relay.

At the Tidewater Sprint Triathlon, Alex Tan had a strong race and took 3rd overall! Jessica Small took first place in her age group, and Kathy Scourby continued her successful season with first overall in her age group!

At Ironman Lake Placid, Kelly Britt had a strong race, finishing in the top half of her age group!  Paul Croston completed his first attempt at the distance as well!  Congratulations to you both!

Kristopher Scott finished first in his Age Group in the Alleghany Gran Fondo! True to his nature, he fought some obstacles leading up to this, but still performed great!

Hazel Gillespie took 1st in her AG at the Green Bank Triathlon while the Gilespie family was out at Mountain Bike Nationals.

Speaking of which, congratulations to all of our junior athletes who raced the USAC Mountain Bike National Championship last week!  We had strong races across the board for Presley Evans, Jude Gillespie, Jake Dysart, Coleson Lindsey, Caleb McCaskill, Rex Nguyen, and Lucas Pound.

At the last race of the Cul de Sac series, Monica Woodward, Sarah Look, and Scott Vanwagner all had strong races with Sarah taking 3rd overall in her age group for the series!  Well done Sarah!

Carson Everman had a super strong race at the Music City Triathlon, which served as the TN High School State Championships.  Carson took 3rd in the state championship and 1st in her age group.

Katie Elliott returned to Olympic distance racing this weekend with a strong race at the very competitive Tri Boulder where she took 2nd in her age group and 7th overall.

Megan Buchanan competed in the Florida Senior Championships in St. Petersburg and placed 12th in the 800m Free and 8th in the 1500m.  Both were PRs!
