Ryan Middleton is an endurance coach with a focus on the run as well as a personal trainer and strength coach at Endorphin Fitness. He is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and a Road Runner Club of America Certified Run Coach. Ryan is most excited about overall improvement and progress of his athletes, no matter their level. Ryan coaches runners across all distances including 5k to ultra marathon. There is a fine line, as well as an important balance, between hard training and over training which Ryan is a master at accomplishing efficiently. His philosophy is heavily focused on optimizing run performance using running as well as cross training and strength training to remain healthy and injury free. Ryan has expertise in cycling, water running, and strength training for runners. Ryan has found much success in Richmond area races, along with a few victories on the ultramarathon circuit. Currently his PR’s are 16:02(5k), 34:39 (10k), 1:15 (13.1), and 2:42 (26.2). Ryan is also an area high school cross country coach.
