Maddie Fisher has been with Endorphin Fitness for the past 4 years now. Recently, she raced the Healthy Kids Run Series the past 4 weeks and each week finished 2nd. If you know Maddie, you know she is a competitive racer who likes to finish in front. Each week, Maddie tried a different strategy, and after every race, analyzed how it went with her coaches to determine what more could be done. Going into week 5, Maddie was determined to finish first, and she did! Coming into the final sprint, Maddie was about 5 yds behind the girl who had won every race this year but willed herself into an unbelievable sprint to finish inches ahead of 2nd place. After the race, her coaches agreed that this will be a race she will remember for the rest of her life, not because of how she finished but rather how hard she worked over the last 5 weeks to achieve a goal. This motivation and willingness to work through the process is very inspiring. Maddie has an amazing gift, undying competitive spirit, and maturity that allows her to race smart. These 3 elements combine to create a very bright future for this young athlete. We are all incredibly proud of her and excited to see what the future will hold for her.
