    Growing up playing sports, there were always the superstars and then everyone else. This did not change from practice to practice as the sport did not change. No one got to take turns being the superstar for the day – either you had the ability or not. Oftentimes, the superstars were held up on a pedestal while the others were held down which only leads to further discouraging them from achieving their best.

    It’s Almost Here

With every passing day, you have found your urge to get back to training swell like a tiger pacing within a cage getting hungrier and hungrier with each day. We want to stay there in that cage until the perfect moment when you cannot take it any longer – when the hunger is just so great that nothing can stand in your way of the goal: the prey.

    Race Results Oct 15-16

    Another big weekend of races. The EF coached Liberty University Triathlon Team finished out an incredible season at the Liberty University Triathlon. Additionally, EF athletes raced well at Schooley Mill Cross, the Backyard Burn Trail Series, Ashland Harvest Run, the Healthy Kids Run Series, and across several middle and high school XC races.

    Watching the Hawaii Ironman World Championships unfold last Saturday, I was struck by the pain on Frodeno’s face in the final miles as he ran to a two-peat victory. He was suffering! Frodeno later stated that he had never hurt so badly in a race.
