Big weekend of EF race results from around the world.
Huge congratulations to the Speak Up Team who raced Challenge Roth Ironman this weekend in honor of Cameron Gallagher. This team included EF’s Coach Parker Spencer who finished in 10:06 and PJ Gallagher who finished in 14:41.
We had tons of athletes from our various locations come together to race the Summer Sizzling Triathlon Adult and Youth Triathlons. In the youth race, here is an overview of age group winners:
- 1st – Avery Johnson, Jude Gillespie, Annika Rogerson, Presley Evans (overall winner), Ava Larkin, Grace Sheehy (overall winner), Annalise Williams,
- 2nd – Whit Evans, Chandler Evans, Cori Johnson, Olivia Christie, Jenna Free, Joshua Gray

In the adult sprint, here is an overview of age group winners:
- 1st – Delaney Carroll, Zoe Van Winckel (1st overall female), Chloe Ramirez, Cameron McConagha,

- 3rd – John Swecker, Chel Menchavez
Strong races also by Anna Mihalovich (7th), Keagan Carroll (10th), Ryan Patton (4th), Jordan Pham (7th), Sarah Menchavez (9th), Jacob Crouch (5th – first triathlon), Nick Gryski (6th – first triathlon), Otto Gerstl (7th), and Rachel McNeal (11th – first triathlon). Also, Emme Cate Heilbrun had a fantastic race stopping after T2 (which was planned) but was the second female leaving T2.
At the Sky High Xterra in NY, team Fisher took top honors. Jim fisher placed 1st AG and 6th overall. Kate Fisher and her relay team placed 3rd in the teams. Maddie Fisher placed 1st overall in the 13 and under race out of boys and girls! Zach Fisher was 1st in the 5-6 year olds.
At the Fairmont Park Triathlon, Samantha Kayne took 1st overall in the 11-17 division.
At the Tour de Tysons Crit, Sam Kristy took top 20 in Cat 4 Men and Kai Dove was 2nd in 14 and under.
Bethy Vallejo was strong at the Hawaii Army 10miler.
Dale Treadway was 2nd AG at commonwealth games 5k with her fastest 5k time this season.
Barrett LeHardy won the overall title at the Tidewater Sprint. Bill Deaton also won his age group at the same race.
At the Jefferson Sprint Triathlon, Stephen Tan took 3rd overall followed by Jordan Prax in 5th overall (1st age group). Alex Tan was 12th overall and 2nd age group. Blaze Prax was 29th overall followed closely by dad Brian Prax in 31st.
Megan Buchanan dropped 44 seconds to place 16th in the 13-14 girls 1500 free at the Florida Age Group Championships.
